I almost totally forgot!  In case you haven’t heard, tonight is the night for Earth Hour 2009.

Households in hundreds of cities all over the world have committed to turning off all their lights from 8:30 – 9:30 pm (CST) in a global effort (a vote) of getting government officials to take action against global warming.

Earth hour started in Sydney, Australia in 2007 with 2.2 million homes and businesses switching off their lights, then grew to 50 million homes in 2008.  2009 has a goal of 1 Billion homes!

Be a part of it and VOTE EARTH!
