Do You Use Swagbucks?

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

In case you haven’t heard of it, Swagbucks is a search engine powered by Google and Ask.com.  But, if you search the web through Swagbucks, you can earn points from searching (among other things) that you trade in for things, like  gift cards, airline miles, books, music, you name it…even CASH!

It’s super easy to sign up and make Swagbucks your primary search engine.  And you get 3 free Swagbucks when you sign up!

Then, all you do it search the internet like you normally would.  Every now and then a page will pop up saying that you earned a Swagbuck!  It’s so fun!

You can also invite your friends and family to join, using your referral link, and earn even more swagbucks!  You can earn up to 100 Swagbucks every time they win!  Score!

If you are looking to earn cash, it takes 80 Swagbucks to get $5 into your Paypal account.   Or, if like me, you buy things off Amazon all of the time, it only takes 45 Swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon gift code.

It doesn’t take that long to rack up 45 or even 80 Swagbucks by simply searching the internet.

And thanks to all those who have used my referral link because I am earning more swagbucks because of you!

So, if you haven’t signed up yet, do it now, and start earning those swagbucks!  You have nothing to lose and all sorts of Swagbucks to gain!

Kid Art Display + Storage

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Have you ever seen these?  They are fantastic!

They are L’il Davinci Art Frames.

They display your kid’s art like real art and also acts as storage since each frame will hold up to 50 pieces of paper!

We have two of the 8×10 frames that are one on top of another on our wall.  Another cool thing is that you can turn it either horizontally or vertically depending on the art you are putting in it.

We are also going to the 11 x 17 frame, which is great for those bigger pieces of artwork.  I think it will make my son’s finger painting art look like pieces of abstract art!

Not only do we love the way this looks, but our son loves seeing his art displayed on the wall.  He gets super excited whenever we change out the picture and put a new piece of art on the wall.

Tim Tams

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

tim-tam-photo2This is a post dedicated to Tim Tams.  Never heard of them?  Well, I’m not surprised.  Most Americans haven’t.

They are Australia’s most popular ‘cookie’.  I say it in quotes, because what we call ‘cookies’, Australian’s call ‘biscuits’.  They are actually owned by Pepperidge Farm, so I really don’t understand why they don’t normally sell them here.

Anyway, they rock.  We LOOOVVEEE them!  So, when they started carrying them at Target right before Christmas, I, of course, became super excited and now cannot leave Target without my Tim Tams in tow.

I bought some today.  I’ve  had 3 already.  There are only 11 in the package. So between my husband and I, we’ve eaten nearly half the package already.

Yuuuummmmm…….go ahead, try some.  The rumor is that Target will only be carrying them through March.
